A new CNN poll that is being released this morning shows that Republican Bob Corker is winning over Democrat Harold Ford Jr. among likely and registered voters in one of the nation’s most closely watched U.S. Senate races.

Among likely voters, Corker leads Ford, 52 percent to 44 percent, in the survey that has a margin for error of 4 percentage points. One percent of the respondents said they backed another candidate, and 3 percent had “no opinion.”
