Barry Bonds — the King of Steroids

Barry Bonds.png

Ah, yes, the 1987 Topps Barry Bonds rookie . . . a memorable year for baseball cards.  But, can anyone honestly say that this is the same player who plays for the Giants today?  He is a disgrace.  He should never be in the Hall of Fame.  Without steroids, he is (maybe) a 30 HR, 30 SB/year baseball player.  I don’t want to see him break Hank’s record.  As a friend of mine said yesterday, “the first at bat of the year, I hope his arms fall off.”  And, I hope everywhere he comes to bat this year, people are chanting “BALCO, BALCO, BALCO!!!”  He deserves all the hell that fans around the country can dish out.  The only way I could hate him more would be if he played for the Yankees.  Disgrace!

One Response to Barry Bonds — the King of Steroids

That baseball card tells the entire story. Barry Bonds circa 1987 is a guy with a medium build. Look at him now. Even if he break Hank Aaron’s record, there should be a permanent asterisk next to it.
