Harold Ford: Pro-choice or pro-life?

I found an article on Harold Ford’s website “clarifying” his position on abortion.  He objects to the “attacks” that Ken Mehlman has made on his voting record on abortion.  He claims that he supports the “law of the land”.  And, then he goes on to outline his position on adoption issues . . . as if that had anything to do with his position on abortion.  So, I guess the “law of the land” comment means that he is a pro-choice.  Let’s not sugar-coat it.  Let’s call a spade.  It is a simple question, really – one that does not require a long article or explanation, Congressman Ford.
