Hilleary for Governor

And, the talking continues.  JB has a good post about whether Van Hilleary will bow out of the Senate race to run for Governor.  A lot of rumors continue to fly around about whether he will leave the race to run.  These rumors do make you think.  Van would be in a decent financial position to make a run for Governor - although Jim Bryson is a much more viable candidate and would make a much better Governor.  It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

“A lot of rumors continue to fly around”

Only because people like JB keep spreading them! No serious poltical observer is touting that as a posibilty. Only politically-motivated, self-interested partisans like Jay Bush and others in the Bryant camp. And they don’t even believe it! They know Van is in the this race to stay. They simply spread these rumors in order to muddy the waters. They have nothing else to talk about, so they figure they’ll do this. It’s pathetic–just more of the desperation coming from the Bryant camp. Third-place status tends to have that effect.

Yeah, really. Van has already proven he can’t win that race - why would he want to lose there again? It’s time to diversify!
