Leave Bristol Palin alone

1 September, 2008 (14:21) | Tennessee News | By: Phil Ayres

I find it to be sad and pathetic that people would actually attack the motives of Bristol Palin.

I feel very sad for her right now. This is a girl who until this week… was unknown outside of Alaska. And, now, for all practical purposes, she is in the same situation as Jamie Lynn Spears. I think that she has shown incredible bravery in her decision to keep this child and do the right thing. But, I also know that this decision just infuriates many on the Left.

This is a plus. As Mark Steyn points out in his recent best seller, America Alone, if our western civilization is demographically to survive in the increasingly “hostile to the west” islamic world — and not end up like the sinking European populations — these are the precise people (the Bristol Palins’) we should thank for increasing their progeny.

Bristol Palin’s obviously out of relevance. The process, however, is another matter.

Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, Naomi Watts, and Angelina Jolie all have conceived children out of wedlock.

If they didn’t know enough to wait until marriage, how do we expect a little seventeen-year-old minor, like Bristol Palin, to know any better?

I agree- Leave Bristol Palin alone. Unless you’re some abstinent saint (which are few and far in between), you have no business judging Bristol, let alone the rest of the Palin family.
