Phil Ayres Update

Tennesseans, for the last few months, I know that I have given up my blogging responsibilities at TennesseeTalk.  I have been a bit busy.

About a year ago, a friend of mine from Vanderbilt, Jeff Robinson, and I started a fantasy football website, www.myfantasyball.com.  My Fantasy Ball is a fantasy football informational and statistical analysis website, designed to help you win your fantasy league.  In the beginning, it started out as an innocent little hobby site.  However, as time went by, it has grown.  We were forced to bring in people to help us expand.  And, now, we have over 4,000 hits per day.  Nearly every free minute away from work – late nights, weekends, etc., have been devoted to this site.  Therefore, I will be exiting the practice of law to pursue My Fantasy Ball and other entrepreneurial ventures in the near future.

This decision was made with great care and deep thought.  I have enjoyed the practice of law.  And, I have had the distinct honor of working with the most professional and outstanding attorneys in Nashville, at Cornelius & Collins.  I will miss each and every one of them as I strike out on a new adventure in my life and in the lives of my wife, Tracey, and daughter, Taylor.

I now look forward to devoting more time to blogging, technology, entrepreneurship – all activities and endeavors that I find to be challenging and very rewarding.  Thank you for reading and please continue to visit Tennessee Talk.
