Role of the Web in the Mayor’s race

The impact of the web on politics is a phenomenon that never fails to amaze me.  For example, in the Tennessean, today, there is an interesting article comparing the Mayoral candidates’ websites.  Who would have imagined such an article – just 15 years ago?  Just this morning, I also read a blog discussing John Edwards’ use of the social networking site, Twitter.  It is amazing to see the impact that the web is having on politics – at all levels.
