Kerry Collins remains at the Helm (Thankfully)

29 September, 2009 (09:32) | Tennesee Titans | By: Phil Ayres

I was very glad to see this…There is no reason to “fire” Kerry Collins.  What else are you going to do?  Put in a rookie (effectively) with no experience and little opportunity for success?

The Titans have lost 3 nail-biter games.  This team will be fine.  They just have to stay the course and not blame each other for problems.

Steelers steal the game out of stupidity

11 September, 2009 (08:22) | Tennesee Titans, Tennessee News | By: Phil Ayres

I hope that Rob Bironas feels very bad this morning.  (He missed a FG and … yes… the 2nd was his fault… it was too low.  That's why it got blocked.)  And, frankly, I don't understand why the defensive line essentially quit at the end of the game.  With 5 minutes in the pocket… I am quite confident that I could have completed the passes that Roesthlisberger did to beat us.  And, where were the DBs?  They played 10 yards off the receivers at all times the last 10 minutes.  Ridiculous.

Forget the Terrible Towels and play football!

9 September, 2009 (09:34) | Tennesee Titans, Tennessee News | By: Phil Ayres

Seriously, I can't believe this stupid controversy is still going on.  Going into Heinz field and getting a W is tough enough without provoking the opposing team to violence by doing something so lame as stomping on their "Terrible Towels".

Lendale – with this ridiculous nicknames and this – is the kind of guy that gets caught up in this form of stupidity.  Seriously, let it go and just try to get the win.

Thanks, Fisher, for the stupidity!

9 December, 2007 (15:38) | Tennesee Titans | By: Phil Ayres

I put that loss square on the shoulders of Norm Chow and Fisher… you get the ball back on the 2… and you run twice before you let your QB try to do something with it… very nice… very stupid…. there goes the play-offs.

What is wrong with Vince Young?

4 November, 2007 (13:54) | Tennesee Titans | By: Phil Ayres

Alright… here we are… halfway through the 3rd and Vince is just not cutting it… I thought after last week… well, it’s a fluke… he will be back next week… but, he is just not playing VY-like… is it still the injury?  What’s up?  Thank goodness we are playing an NFC team this week.

Hip Hop Pac-man

16 August, 2007 (09:50) | Tennesee Titans | By: Phil Ayres

This guy kills me… what a complete fool. If for no other reason, Floyd Reese should have lost his job for bringing this jackass into the fold. So, now, he is going into Hip-hop.

His National Street League Records, based in Atlanta, announced today that Jones will team with producer Spoaty in a duo called Posterboyz with their first single Let it Shine being released Aug. 27. The song talks about big money, cars and jewelry.

I love how his first single will discuss “big money, cars and jewelry”… none of which he will have after he gets dropped by the Titans and no other NFL teams are willing to pick-up one of the worst DBs in the NFL.

And, the only people dumber than Pac-man will be the idiots who buy his album.

Interpreting “Pac-Man Speak”

9 August, 2007 (13:49) | Tennesee Titans, Tennessee News | By: Phil Ayres

This morning, Pac-man appeared on ESPN 2 to discuss his disgraceful wrestling exploits… just a few comments about what he said and tried to say…

Jones…

I was in a strip club. I did go and get something to eat. If I could do anything different I wouldn’t have went in and got nothing to eat then.

I am very troubled by this.  Who eats in a strip club?  Seems pretty sanitary… yes, I’ll have the BBQ sandwich, please, while your shake your woohoo in my face.
Next, Jones …

As far as the community, I am doing a lot of stuff in the community. … I am in and out of the Boys and Girls Club every day.

What are you doing “in and out” of the Boys and Girls Club?  For goodness sakes, do we really want him hanging out at the Boys and Girls Club?!??  Give this man an award… wow, what an example, he is for America’s youth!

Next…

“I am going through a lot. Everybody is talking about wrestling, and if it ain’t wrestling, why is he doing this, why is he doing that? I don’t really think the way you have me portrayed doing wrestling, I don’t think it is a bad thing. I am not downtown with people in the middle of a bar. You want me to stay out of the clubs and now I pick up the wrestling thing. Now you don’t want me to wrestle. What ya’ll want me to do, just sit in the house and be miserable all day? I can’t do that. … I am just keeping my prayers up and looking forward to game 10.’’

I reeeeeally love this one… so the only avenues for entertainment were wrestling and clubbing… that’s it… aaaaah, what does that say for Music City?  Hey, I have an idea… why don’t you spend your time learning how to be a defensive back?  Ah, there’s a novel idea.  You, Jones, were one of the worst in the NFL last year!  So, how about you elevate football to at least a hobby that you think about – now and then?

Oh, Pac man, we are all praying for you… praying for you to leave Nashville!

Pac Man is simply worthless (but we all knew that)

7 August, 2007 (07:31) | Tennesee Titans | By: Phil Ayres

So, now, it is official, Pacman is going into wrestling.

Coach Fisher states that wrestling “is not permitted in accordance with (Jones’) contract.”

So, what are we waiting on?  As soon as he steps into that ring, he has violated his contract.  The Titans should move to drop him, immediately.  And, they should pay nothing out.

Pac Man is a liability.  He will tear a team apart.  He isn’t even a good DB.  Drop him.  He is a worthless player and deplorable human.

Pac-Man as a “wrassler’”???

31 July, 2007 (11:32) | Tennesee Titans, Tennessee News | By: Phil Ayres

Does this guy just want to be a complete joke?  I knew from the day we drafted him that trouble was ahead.  On draft day, when they panned the camera to him and his friends in Vegas … one of his “companions” proceeded to climb on his lap and shake her ass in the camera.  Then, I knew we were in trouble.

Fast forward the clock a few years… following countless conflicts with law enforcement officials, a contract hold-out, and the daily shame he has brought on a city and a great franchise…. now he wants to do professional wrestling….

You know that Fisher and crew are just looking for a way to get him off this team without paying out his contract… so, why not just let him wrestle and then tell him after the fact that he violated his agreement.  This guy is a first-rate loser.

I laugh as I read this article, Keith Bullock, a true class act and team leader says that Pac should just focus on football.

Should Bullock even have to say this?  Jones doesn’t even deserve to walk across the same field as Keith Bullock, and I hope he never does.  He is a disgrace…. the worst mistake the Titans ever made.  He isn’t even that great of a football player.  He is too small to be a DB.  I would never EVER pair him up against TO, Randy, or any tall WR.  He simply can’t defend them.  He is not worth the trouble.  As a sign says on the wall of a great bar in NYC, McSorley’s…. “Be Good or Be Gone.”  Pac has violated this cardinal rule for a while, now.  Time to throw his ass out.
