It did not dawn on me where Obama got it from until I heard my daughter singing in the car the other day…

    Isn’t it possible that Obama was echoing the lost lyrics of the Pointer Sisters’ 1973 hit “Yes We Can” I mean seriously. He grew up during a powerful era of civil rights movements when almost every african american artist was singing about change. Sorry but “yes we can” was shouted long before Bob the builder came along.
