Why be critical of Bredesen?

Team GOP actually posted this comment that Governor Bredesen “proves how tough he is . . . by arresting people in wheelchairs.”  I would hope that they are going for humor.  Because, if they are seriously being critical of this decision, this is ridiculous.  I am a Republican . . . and a conservative one at that.  But, bottom line, I can recognize when Governor Bredesen makes a good decision.  Would Team GOP prefer that protesters continue to run amuck through the streets of Nashville?  If Governor Bredesen were a Republican, would this person be making the same statement?  I seriously doubt it.  This remark speaks of the kind of partisanship that turns off the average American to the political system.

  1. Nathan Moore says:

TeamAntiCorker has a rather diminished sense of humor, rivaled only by their dearth of political acumen. I think that they ought to go to the mat, and argue for the expansion of TennCare to include assisted living expenses. When it comes to partisanship, who needs principle?
